If you’ve completed a beginners course and are looking for the freedom to explore and hone your craft more independently, our Makers’ Membership program provides access to all equipment 5 days a week.

Designed for students who’ve never touched clay before, our two hours Wheel Taster workshop is the perfect opportunity to get your hands muddy, mind happy and walk away with your first piece of pottery!
Over the course of two hours our experienced teachers will guide you through the fundamentals of creating a simple form on the wheel, including centering, pulling up and shaping.
At the end of the workshop you’ll get to choose one piece to keep which we’ll fire in our Stoker house glaze and have it ready to pick up 3-4 weeks later.
If you’re from out of town postage can be arranged for an additional cost.

This workshop is for total beginners or those with experience who’d love to join in the fun.
Over the course of two hours, we’ll have the tunes cranking to get the good vibes flowing as our experienced teachers guide you through the fundamental of wheel throwing, including centering, pulling up and shaping! You’ll create a range of pieces and get to keep your fave which we’ll fire in our Stoker house glaze.
After the workshop your piece will be ready to collect 3-4 weeks later or if you’re from out of town we can post for $20.

Explore the ancient art of coiling while enjoying complementary wine
Over the course of two relaxing hours, our experienced teachers will guide you through the process of building and decorating a stunning vase for your home using coiling techniques.
If you’re curious about hand building, this workshop is the perfect introduction to clay, techniques and tools needed to get making.

Handcraft the ultimate breaky set for your morning ritual!
In this super fun 2 hour workshop you'll learn how to hand craft and decorate the perfect breaky set using hand building techniques such as pinching, slab rolling and coiling. After the workshop we’ll fire your set in our beautiful house glaze and have it ready to collect three weeks later once it's been through the kiln.
If you're a day tripper from Melbourne your finished set can be couriered for $15.

Over the course of 3-hours, our experienced teachers will guide you thought fundamentals of hand building, including coiling, pinching and slab building as you learn how to design and craft your very own teapot for your morning ritual.
This workshop is open to all skill levels and the perfect morning out over a cuppa.
After the workshop, we’ll glaze your teapot and have it ready for collection four weeks later.

Join us for a fun two-hour workshop exploring the art of clay inlay to create unique tableware for your home.
Clay inlay is a technique using two contrasting clay bodies pressed into each other that enables you to achieve an unlimited range of organic shapes and patterns.
As well as inlay, students will learn a range of hand building techniques, such as slab rolling and working with molds.

So, you’re ready to start glazing and firing at home but feel like you’re in the dark? This workshop is designed to give budding potters practical experience mixing glazes from scratch and the knowledge to pack, program and care for your kiln.
Taught by Lisa Skillern, this jam-packed 4-hour workshop covers a lot of ground, but we promise you won’t leave feeling overwhelmed! Instead, you’ll walk away with experience working with raw materials, your questions answered and the confidence to start your glazing and firing journey at home.
You will learn:
Occupational Health and Safety
Record keeping
Clay temperatures and glazes
Handling raw materials
Glaze preparation – measuring raw materials, mixing, sieving
Colourants – Mixing them with a white glaze
Glaze application and faults

Each student is required to bring 3 bisqued midfire pieces in varying sizes/shapes such as a bowl, mug, small plate etc. If you don’t work with mid fire clay you can purchase 3 pieces on the day for an additional $20.
