Now an 8 week course, this beginner-friendly course will give you a solid understanding of the fundamentals of hand building and the confidence to pursue independent practice with the skills you've learnt.
We'll explore the three main methods of hand building including coiling, slab rolling and pinching to create a range of forms such as mugs, vases, plates, sculpture and more! The list is endless!
With two glaze sessions built into the course, you'll finish one collection of pieces before creating a second round with your growing skills.
The extra weeks also mean more free sessions where you can create whatever you like, using everything you've learnt. Already an intermediate hand builder? Use this time to work independently on your own projects, with support and guidance on hand whenever you need it.
As well as developing your awesome new skills and creating some beautiful pieces for home, you'll make some amazing new pals over the eight weeks.
Unlimited clay, tools, glaze and all firing.
An apron and an old tee or towel. Short nails are also essential.
