Deep dive into the art of wheel throwing
This is a wonderful course designed for beginners. Over the course of six weeks you’ll gain a solid understanding of creating and finishing forms made on the wheel and develop the confidence to pursue independent practice with the skills you’ve learnt.
You’ll also explore decorative treatments with oxides and slips, as well as:
Preparing clay
Centering
Pulling up and shaping
Turning
Decorative treatments
Glazing
Clay recycling
This course covers a range of basic forms such as tumblers, bowls and small vases. On the final night you’ll get to glaze your creations using our library of glazes.
As well as developing your awesome new skills and creating some beautiful pieces for home, you’ll make some amazing new pals over the six weeks.

What’s included?
Unlimited clay, tools, glaze and all firing.
What do I need to bring?
An apron and an old tee or towel. Short nails are also your friend when throwing pots.
